Happy Long Snows Moon
Nov.22- Dec.21.
This is the month to focus on justice and to learn to come to an internal balance in relationship to duality. It is a time to develop independence, determination and fearlessness. This month we can learn to be more open hearted and insightful. We also have to take stock of fears around exploring our emotional depths. Obsidian is a protector stone on the spiritual level. It shields any energy that is not in our highest and best interest. It is good to work with as a tether when we are entering the void/journeying. Black Spruce develops the ability to be both soft and strong. The elk represents majesty and cooperation. Guard against being too argumentative and erratic in intimate relationships this moon.

Winter Solstice at Mountain Meadow Vista
Friday, December 21st
The Winter Solstice marks the longest night. Ancient ones gave thanks on this day for the return of light. We must all learn to be the light out of the darkness. When we return to the natural cycles and rhythms of the earth we connect with something larger than ourselves and fall into the flow of co-creative consciousness. Consider taking time out during this busy time of year to be in the stillness of the changing season. We will start a sacred fire at sunrise. There will be opportunities for discussion, divination, communing with nature throughout the day and a drum circle/ bon fire in the evening. Please dress in layers and make provisions for your meals during the day and a pot luck item for 8.
pot luck at 6:00 pm drumming around 7:30-9 pm
