FAREWELL FOR NOW
I am getting ready for my sojourn and will not be sending anymore Moon Circle Updates until I am in a position to start on the building. Say some prayers that happens someday. You will add the energy it needs to manifest. Everything unfolds in perfect timing.

I wanted to thank all of the people who actually read these messages. Your comments over the years have been rewarding. I finally organized all of my thank you notes to put on my Gratitude Blessing page.  If you have never seen it check it out and you will understand how meaningful and fruitful the Moon Circle has been in my life and in our community. Many blessings and so much sweetness. It could not have happened without your input, love and energy. I am blessed with many memories.

I will be around until Dec.1st, but am living in a far more YIN manner.

If you are interested in coming to a Thurs. night Tslagi Dance just call in advance to see if I am in town. There is room in my basement for 4 people. (I am traveling a bit with friends and going home for two weeks in mid Oct.)

The Creator is asking me to be at peace with the unknown so everything has changed with my trip to Peru. Tito is still going to introduce me to the Paco who trained him. I know three English speaking people in Cuzco who will help me when I arrive. Other than that I have no story and that is my biggest test so far. I have the first three days planned and everything after that is a mystery to me.
So, I am going to periodically send postings to my web designer as things unfold for me.  I will try to send messages to the list I have created. Not sure if I can send group messages from my phone. If you would like to be on that list just send a message with Peru in the header. We will see how that goes. If I do make it to the Qero lands then I will be living primitively and I will have to share it all upon my return.

As many of you know I work with Kate Taylor's brother, Don, who is living with ALS. I have learned so much from him and the expansion of my heart through my love for him. I did the ALS walk a couple of weeks ago, but as you can imagine the system does not deliver much direct assistance. So, I am asking for your help on a personal basis.

Don has been living with his mother Ruth who lives in Senior housing. Don needs 24/7 care and there is a parade of people who come to serve his needs. Under the contract for her little apartment she can not have someone else living with her. He has to move by Dec. 1st or she loses her home. Isn't that crazy? Kate and Ken have decided to move into town and live with Don to provide the support that he needs.

Outfitting him with the right wheelchair, meds and appts is a huge expense. Now they have the additional expense of finding a new place to live. Ken and Kate do not want to lose their oasis in the Mts. so they will be making two house payments. Loving sacrifice is a beautiful thing to behold!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
They are in immediate need of $3,500 for the down payment and then they will need to remodel the bathroom and add a ramp. A little bit from a lot of people could really make a difference. They have faith that all is well and will work out. I would like to be a catalyst for love in action and you are the missing link. Even $10 from every person on my list would cover the down payment and put in the ramp.

Money is relative and giving is a way to get the turbine of abundance moving in your life. Fear of lack will surely rust the wheels of faith. WILDFLOWER PROJECT: The pig weed got ahead of me because I thought it was lambs quarter. I will be weed whacking it down this Tues. 11th before 7pm. It would be wonderful if I had a handful of people to help move the plant matter to the other side. I am trying to keep it from re-seeding so it needs to be disposed of ASAP. Many hands make light the work. Probably an hour. brings gloves, water and bug spray. Thanks in advance for your help.

Beginnings:
* On August 3rd we will be the stewards of 13,500 acres including  the 20-bed eco-lodge known as Las Heliconias.
*We will employ an active caretaker to live on the land.
* We will provide maintenance of the gardens, trails and lodge.
* We will provide reports, filings and accounting for government agencies.
* We will offer two trips a year for you to visit, commune and work on the land. First trip is scheduled for October 2009.
* We will offer environmental and scientific trips.

Delays:
Due to significant changes in the administrative agencies underway in Peru The conservation concession (558 hectares) contract will be completed in the coming months. Yet experience tells us the timing  in Peru is a different than what we are accustomed to in the US.

We have the funds in hand to pay for the current purchase of RLP and the substantial legal expenses in Peru. However it has required us to significantly draw upon our US operating reserves.

We need $ 30,000 in the next sixty days and another $ 20,000 by November to complete the purchase. We are very sensitive to the fact that these are challenging economic times for each and every one of you. These are challenging times for our Mother as well.
Please connect your hearts with this effort so as a community we bring this into being. Please weave this vision into your Pachakuti Mesa for unseen assistance. And finally, we are asking each of you to give at any level you can.

This is a big step for the foundation to take RLP on. It is the deep knowing that it is a step to greater opportunities to serve and make a difference that keeps each of us going. We know we can rely upon each of you in our community to answer this call.

Hi! I just got back from the Elder's Gathering in Arizona. It was amazing to see so many bright shining faces at our sunrise ceremonies. Looking around at the head gear and footwear was telling of how many countries were represented. With 70 elders attending from the far corners of the world it was a spectacular site. The elders gathered daily for council meetings, did ceremony with the people, presented traditional dances and offered teachings. If you are interested in hearing more about my travels and work with indigenous people please send a reply with the word Peru in the heading and I will add you to a separate list that will share my insights and teachings as I begin my spiritual sojourn.

POUDRE CABIN RETREAT..... I had two cancellations. Anyone interested? It is this weekend.

We will gather at 5:30 on Friday night to drive up the Poudre to Rustic. The retreat includes all meals, an easy silent meditation hike, Dream work, and one self generative ceremony class. TSLAGI DANCE OF LIFE
Thurs. May 14th 7-8 pm
My yard is ready to receive you! I am so looking forward to establishing a group of people to do the dance regularly. It is a beautiful, balancing, movement meditation. One that helps to detox the body as well as the mind. It is a simple practice to learn and takes about 20 minutes on your own. As a group we gather, set intention, do the dance, have some time for integration and sharing. Gratitude blessing.

We will be starting the wildflower project again down at the Fairbrooke Heights Detention Basin. It is a glorious place to watch the sunset. We weed, water and chat about Earth Honoring ways. Great way to learn and share what you know.

CANYON PASSAGES CANOE TRIP

The second annual float trip will be here soon! This trip offers so much sustenance for the soul. Even if you have never been in a canoe before you will learn with ease to go with the flow at the best time on the river. The trip takes us down the Gunnison at the Escalante with a lay over in Domingas Canyon. The canyon is rich with history and fun things to explore, including some gorgeous waterfalls and water slides to play in. You need camping gear but all food and drinks, (including happy hour) are provided with special consideration taken for sensitivities and healthy choices. Investing in a truly regenerative vacation is good medicine for the whole family.
