Happy Earth Renewal Moon (Dec22-Jan19th) 
This is the month to really focus on your personal evolution. It is a time to access inner awareness through ceremony. Ceremony is direct contact with the Divine. It can be an elaborate cultural expression, or as simple as lighting a candle. Ceremony connects us to serendipity and adds momentum to the magnetism at the core of our being to attract what we desire. This moon teaches us how to be fluid yet proper in conduct. It helps us to be prudent and wise in our decision making. (Wait til after the 29th for major decisions if you can.) Quartz teaches us that we, as well as the planet, are receivers and amplifiers of energy. Form follows thought, so be careful what you pray for. The birch tree, a relative of our Aspens, offers us great wisdom and a place to record our deepest thoughts. Snow goose helps us to recognize that true leadership inspires leadership and supports the vested interest and contribution of every member of the community. Be aware of blockages this month and of using your great power constructively. Relinquish the punishing perfectionist inside and simply do your best.

A Catalyst for change.
As we approach the count down to Winter Solstice 2012 the heavens are aligning themselves to assist us in our preparation. Optimize the opportunity by tuning in for meditation, quiet self-reflection, ceremony and celebrating! Mercury retrograde effects communication, commerce and thoughts. This one is moving through Capricorn (government) and Sagittarius (truth). It exposes another layer of transparency. (hmmmm Wiki leaks?) It provides an opportunity for us to step back and choose again. We can seize the chance to release conformity and go with the flow. A skill necessary as we move into the Aquarian Age. Venus returns full circle to the alignment before her last retrograde on Dec. 20th. This affords us the opportunity to break old patterns of relationships, both personal and global, as Venus transforms the shadow and ushers in the return of grace, beauty and love. The 8 year cycle of Venus is marked by one of the most ancient Solstice calendars at New Grange in Ireland. If you connect the dots of its 8 year evolution it makes a pentagram. Four years rising with the sun and four years with the setting sun. It is the wake up call that says rise and shine with your light radiating out to increase the frequency for the collective shift.

Happy Long Snows Moon. (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) This is the time of year to develop independence and determination. The roots of the tree are replenishing themselves and storing up energy necessary to burst into new growth in the Spring. It is the time for us to go into self-reflective hibernation too, seeking insights into our authentic self. Dualities and Justice are lessons learned this month. Obsidian represents the Divine Feminine energy of receptivity. It is the time to be still and listen in meditation. It is a protection stone that gives us the courage to go deeper into the void of pure potentiality. Black Spruce develops the ability to be soft and strong at the same time. The elk illustrates regal energy and teaches us how to cooperate. Elk travel in same sex herds most of the year. This is the time to strengthen relationships with people of the same gender.

Happy Freeze Up Moon. (Oct 24-Nov.21) I love the descriptiveness of the titles of the moons and how they reconnect us to the natural world. Take time to observe the frost in the morning, the scent of the hearth and eat lots of grounding root foods. This is the month to focus on traveling between the realms. Give yourself time to develop your imagination (everybody has one). People born into this position have keen sight. Be inquisitive! Take a walk in nature and really pay attention to the perfection in every little detail. Malachite helps us to be sensitive to all energies, and copper grounds that energy and helps us focus it productively. Thistle tunes us into the healing benefits of plants. The snake helps us to shed our old skin and can journey with us into the underworld (subconscious).
This is the time of year to become a spiritual messenger. Sun Bear, Dancing With the Wheel.

I have returned from Nepal and am ready to serve you with a deeper understanding of Earth Honoring ways. Many blessings to the many people who helped manifest my experience. I am back in business starting Nov. 8th. So if you had a project in mind, want to get an Ioncleanse series in before winter arrives, or just want to rest in the nurturing of a reflexology session, I am ready to roll.

Nepal in a nut shell was a deepening experience for me. I learned how to meditate with a new awareness. The people and the pace of Pokhara was pleasant. I was invited to join a Hindu family in a small village to celebrate the tenth day of Dashain. It is a time of victory over demons and emancipation of the soul. I adopted a soul son named Umesh and his mother adopted me as her sister.  I was the first American anyone in the village had ever met. I received the many blessings of Tika almost daily while I was traveling on my own. My sincere interest in their belief system opened every door, even taxis. 

Nepal is the land of Shiva and Siddhartha (Buddha) The evolution of my consciousness was greatly expanded by the physical proximity I had to connecting with these energies that so resonate with my being. I offered a thousand chants one day. I feel richly enhanced by all of my prayers and I am eager to bring the dance of Shiva to your happy feet.

I was able to connect with a Tibetan shaman and established a good relationship with his family. I am going to send a small tape recorder to his daughter, Tenzin, so she can record her father's ancient stories and teachings. (Let me know if you would like to help with that). He would not train me to do a simple cleansing ceremony because I was not Tibetan. It was sad that my physical features limited my soul's desire to serve.

The highlight for me was stumbling on the opportunity to volunteer at the Missionaries of Charity orphanage my first day in Kathmandu. There, I met  a nun whom I have seen in my video. On my way out of town. I was magically guided to Mother Theresa's home for the elderly and did a reflexology session for a woman. I can not describe the flow of loving devotion I felt as I stepped over a threshold into the video that has inspired my life. The tables, chairs, beds and elders suddenly sprang to life in my waking dream. I feel self-actualized and fulfilled. We can manifest our deepest desires!

The lesson I will carry with me is an unshakeable belief that every earth angel I am destined to meet in this life time already has the coordinates to intersect at the opportune moment for growth. I was able to capture concepts and photographs to support my research. I am working on getting all of the videos up for viewing and putting together a presentation to share what I have gleaned.

The mask making ceremony is also a wonderful tool for self reflection. I can take up to 8 people. It is a wonderful experience to share with a friend, or a powerful way to connect with a stranger. We will fashion a mask of your face. I will go over a ceremony you can do with your mask at a later date. The ceremony helps you clarify your authentic self by giving away the false face. This is the month to practice good sense, discrimination, fair decisions and perseverance. It is time to step into a greater sense of confidence. In expressing your true, authentic self you step forward with assurance. It is the season to look at work and duty. Are you living in right livelihood? What does that look like for you? Your greatest duty is to yourself. The earth is teaching us about balance and practicality during this moon. Amethyst teaches about justice and helps us to understand that constructive anger is a catalyst for change. The violet flower about penetrating to secret regions of the heart and soul and the brown bear about being the head of the council. Let your own authority make the final decisions in your life.

This is the month to work from our heart center and demonstrate affection. We can utilize the energy to develop leadership in alleviating our fears. The energies available help amplify courage and power. Iron teaches people about their strength and garnet ignites our passion. We learn sweetness from the raspberries who's thorns serve as protection. We should be mindful this month to watch impulsiveness, arrogance and the need to dominate situations.

   Hi! I booked my flight to Nepal tonight and I will be travelling through the month of Oct. I start with a Habitat for Humanity build in Pokhara. I will be working with 460 people from around the world to build 50 bamboo houses in ten days.
   The houses were all funded by micro financing. Instead of each family striving for a home, eight families pooled their resources in order to earn one house at a time. A much more efficient way to get ahead and meet a fundamental need.
   As a teacher, I was dedicated to collaboration instead of competition. This is a beautiful illustration of the power of community and seeking a win-win solution.
   The remainder of my stay I will be living with a shaman learning about natural ways of healing utilizing Earth honoring techniques.
   I feel called to do this work at this auspicious time in the evolution of our planet. I am dedicated to the task of morphing ancient ways into our future. They are simple, natural ways of healing that can create profound shifts on all levels of being. Those of you who have experienced the Hucha Ceremony understand what a powerful catalyst for change it can create. I feel both honored and humbled to have been initiated to bring this tool to our community. I know there are many more blessings just waiting for me to retrieve and make relevant in the modern world.
    If I had been born in another place in time, my ceremonial work would have been supported by the community to whom I served. In the modern world it is difficult to feel that sense of belonging and support.
   My work is motivated by a desire to be a hollow bone and a conduit of Divine Love. I do not have set hours.  I have had people land on my doorstep at midnight with a genuine need for a session and it was my joy to be there to assist.
   I believe in Divine Providence and my ceremonial work is done as a gratitude blessing. It is based on the principle of reciprocity where giving and receiving are held in the balance of appreciation.
   This next adventure will cost about $5,000 and I need your help. I would love to slip you in my pocket so you can tag along on my journey. In exchange for your donation of any amount I will:

   The dominant culture has detached from the natural rhythms and sanctity of life. Like a droning sound in the background, we have been lulled into a deep sleep. This unconscious detachment undermines the potential renaissance on the horizon of humanity. It is with urgency that I make this quest before these teachings and ceremonies disappear from the collective awareness.

        Although reflexology is considered an alternative medicine, I like to think of it as complementary care. Part of a synergistic program to address the whole person and how each aspect has an effect on the whole system. Reflexology is a five thousand year old practice with the oldest documentation unearthed in Egypt through pictographs dated around 2500-2330 BC.

It can truly make the difference in loosing appendages or keeping them vitally alive. My intention is to make this information affordable, easy to understand and implement. Happy Strong Sun Moon (July23 - Aug 22nd) This is a big month for planetary change. This is the month we can focus on the importance of the emotions and having a strong home base. Reach out to people and connect with an emerging community. It is easier to tune into our intuition during this moon. In an effort to stimulate some business and keep myself afloat I am taking my practice in a new direction. I will continue to offer reflexology and Ioncleanse sessions for detox and relaxation purposes, but I am interested in specializing in diabetic neuropathy.  I am excited about educating individuals who are pre diabetic, type 1 or 2 about how reflexology and essential oils can help prevent debilitation and improve quality of life. We need 10 more people to make the river trip a go. Matt was commenting on how people will spend $300 on a 3hr flight, but fail to see the benefit in a 3 day trip for the same price. The river trip is a time of communing with nature and like-minded people. It renews my spirit and revitalizes my psyche. Coming home refreshed, relaxed and ready to shed new light on the mundane aspects of life is worth a lot in therapy and health care benefits. So what everyone says about integrating back into our culture is true! I am enjoying the ride albeit bumpy. For those of you who have graciously forgiven my mistakes I hope your blessings come back ten fold. For whoever has my Hannah Kroger book and my Wisdom of the Earth Guide, please return them ASAP I use them daily and I can't remember who I let borrow them.

I will try to get another post up soon as the story continues to unfold. The most significant thing is that I have entered a writing contest. This organization is taking a comprehensive stance to help the women and children of the Sacred Valley. Sue Walker, Barb Lehner and I decided that we wanted to bring awareness to this organization after visiting the HEART Cafe. They feed 400 children and elderly daily and treat them for parasites. Their focus is on empowerment through education, including theatre and cultural preservation, sustainable growing practices that involve the kids in planting, harvesting and creating medicines from their garden.  They provide birth control, and other medical education and assistance. They serve abused women and are building a shelter. They also take care of abandoned children and Wise Elder Women. (it is tragic to see the old women on the streets in Peru). They offer help in creating avenues for selling the hand crafts made by the women. Their textiles are recognized as some of the finest in the world.

Once again the dance was a meaningful and inspirational part of my journey. The condors flew right over our heads while I was teaching the dance at the Canyon de Colca. It was the highlight of my time in Peru! I would love to keep spreading this powerful tool for personal transformation. Even after 8 years of doing the dance I am surprised by its fresh inspiration.

This is the time to get things cleaned up and ready for seeding. If you are interested in helping please email me and I will put you on an email list to keep you updated on projects. It is the best place to watch the sun set and a fun way to learn and grow along with the plants.

SPIRIT STONES AND GODDESSES
I am very tuned into sculpting these days and would love to base more of my income on creating these spiritual tools. They are hand held pieces sculpted specifically for you with intentions set into the stone. I do animals and angels. They take between 25-30 hrs to sculpt, and I have set the price at $250.
If you have a particular Goddess you want to worship, they are 12-20 inches and run $650-1,000.
